Besa Nakazwe is a purpose-driven young lady who is deeply passionate about community, meaningful connection, and personal growth. She values authentic relationships and believes in the power of shared spaces, especially those built around reading and thoughtful conversation, to inspire learning and transformation.
She is an Economics graduand from the University of Zambia, with a strong interest in ideas that shape society and influence development. Beyond her academic journey, Besa is actively involved in service, contributing to the media department of her church, where she helps communicate vision and build community.
Besa is also part of The Conversation Room team, a platform committed to education and intentional dialogue aimed at improving personal development and encouraging critical thinking. Through her work with Cheechs Book Club and other community initiatives, she is passionate about creating spaces where people can learn, reflect, and grow together. Leading the Young Adults chapter is exciting because we all get to go through similar growth processes and experience similar challenges because we are all in the same age range. It’s also interesting to know that we all have different backgrounds and process things differently. The best part about this chapter is we are all able to relate with one another.
