I’m drawn to the things we don’t always say out loud, the cultural nuances, the personal histories, the unspoken parts of conversations that shape who we are. I believe better lives begin with better understanding, and that people flourish when they’re given room to think, reflect, and grow.
My background in political science, international relations, and international business led me
into strategy and leadership work. I’ve spent years leading consumer research and strategy
across African markets, creating solutions that work across borders and cultures. What drives me is clarity, intention, and service, in my work and in my life.
Cheech’s Book Club is where this becomes personal. What started as my own journey to become a reader has grown into a Pan-African community built around stories, reflection, and real conversation. Through the book club, I’m building a space that honours faith, curiosity, and our shared humanity, where stories don’t just entertain us, but shape us.

Cheech’s Bookclub was born from a simple belief: reading doesn’t have to be solitary. Books have the power to slow us down, sharpen our thinking, and reconnect us, to ourselves, to one another, and to purpose. In a world that moves too fast, this is a deliberate pause. A space to read widely, think deeply, and engage honestly. My hope is that we keep growing across Africa and beyond, remembering that stories aren’t just something we consume—they’re something we live by.
